Fortbrand Services, Inc., the exclusive North American Distributor for Patria Vammas, Oy, a Finish manufacturer of specialized snow removal equipment, announces new deliveries for the 2004 / 2005 winter season and the introduction of a new concept in specialized snow removal at airports.

Wayne County Metropolitan Airport (Detroit), has received delivery of an additional Vammas PSB 5500H unit, bringing the PSB 5500H fleet at DTW to a total of seven (7). Baltimore-Washington International Airport has leased two (2) PSB 5500H units, with an option to purchase and Manchester Airport, New Hampshire, has received an additional PSB 4500H unit, bringing the PSB 4500H fleet at MHT to a total of three (3) units.

The Massachusetts Port Authority has approved the purchase of its first PSB 4500H unit to add to its fleet of eight (8) PSB 5500H vehicles at Logan International Airport.

With these deliveries there will be a total of fifty-eight (58) Vammas PSB 5500H and PSB 4500H high speed plow, broom, jet blower vehicles at nine (9) major airports in North America for the 2004 / 2005 winter season.

Additionally, Fortbrand Services and Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP), announced an agreement for the design, manufacture and purchase of a new Runway Edge Light Cleaner, the first of its kind in North America. This new concept for specialized snow removal around critical runway edge lights will result in substantial labor savings for airports and enhanced safety for aircraft.
